The Chester Beast
In a land that is far up north Where the land is continuously showered by the snow And is encased by the merciless darkness of the night A lone traveler makes his way through the snow He hugs his coat tightly as he searches with an uneasy look To his relief, he comes across a wooden cabin With lights pouring out from its windows Quickly the traveler bangs on the door and shouts "Good sir, good sir, are you in there?" As he stands back, he hears footsteps walking toward the door Opening the door is a man with gray hair and wearing an oversized wool coat The wrinkled old man stares at the traveler Suggesting that he already knows why he has come to him The old man asks, "Do you need safe passage through the forest?" When the traveler knobs, the old man then grabs his unlit torch Once he lights it, he says to the traveler, "Follow me and do not stray." The two then walk away from the cabin and then enter the forest next to it Above them are the barren
